Dressember Begins

Dress: Target
Headband: Forever 21
Bomber jacket: gift from inlaws
Turtleneck: Gap
Croche tights in ivory: c/o We Love Colors
T-strap wedges: Seychelles 'Duchess'
Winter has definitely hit Oregon! 40 degrees and rainy, which means you get rainy photos. I would apologize, but I'm the one standing out in the rain! Har de har.

Even though Thanksgiving has come and gone, I am definitely still thankful for many things:

* I am finally watching Harry Potter tonight!
* These great fishnet tights-- They exceeded my expectations in comfort and quality, and are more 'me' than typical fishnets.
* Darin's immense hard work and time he is putting into his kitchens. I would be freaking out, but he is only mildly freaking out. He has so much to do before Christmas.
* Rowena's hilarious throaty laugh.
* Dressember begins today! 31 days, all dresses, repeats allowed.
* Agatha Christie's The ABC Murders. A madman killing people alphabetically? I've read this novel three times, and it still gets me. Good work, Aggie.

Gotta scat- I have a date with Alan Rickman.
Never fear, I will be wearing the socks.

  1. I adore that cute little jacket! Looks so great on you. I like Agatha Christie too-We did a couple of her plays in high school-it was so much fun! I should pick up some of her books again...:)

  3. Those tights offset your dress so nicely! I'm very intrigued by the Dressember idea and would have loved to participate, but I'm not in the habit of photographing myself everyday. Maybe next year.

Hehe, I often consider my frequent ''Sense and Sensibility'' viewings as a date with Alan Rickman ;)

  10. I can't wait to watch you during this challenge. I'd join you but I have approximately 5 dresses. They would get really old really fast.
I love how you winterized that dress with the shirt and tights. Snazzy!

  12. This is one of my favorite outfits on you. The length makes your legs look longer and the tights add to the great look. I love the large "weave" it is a cute balanced outfit. So jealous of Harry Potter, we are going to see it tomorrow night.

  22. woah I had no idea Target would have such a great dress - I kind of figured maybe it was vintage Target or something (I kid, I kid). I LOVE the buttoned tab details. Gonna go look for it tomorrow, I think!
