Check out my custom Tintin hair flip! It just happened, so I kept it. Did you notice the Minnetonkas? Do you guys recognize me? All day people have mistaken me for Kate Moss. My own brother didn't recognize me when I met him for coffee! He asked for my autograph instead. But seriously, I love these, I don't care that they are 'so 2008' like someone recently informed me, and I want another pair. I will dress them up more next time, but today I was going for ultimate comfort and threw flattering silhouettes to the wind. I'm okay with it. I had a nice coffee date/top-secret meeting with my brother, sister, and mom at the Governor's Cup in Salem. Best coffee ever. Just so you know if you are ever in the area! Have a nice weekend everybody! I hope you aren't intimidated by my sudden shocking resemblance to Kate Moss.
LOL! Someone told you they're so 2008? Did you ask them if there were 15? Who cares?! If you like them, that's all that matters!
ReplyDeleteThey seem very warm!!
@Suze-
ReplyDeleteI know, right? What is fashion for if we can't wear what we want to? Rules are stupid.
Hehe This outfit is awesome. I love the colors.

ReplyDeleteOh, and I ordered those same Dolce Vita lace-up boots that you have. Hee hee!
i really like the use of colors in your outfit. :D
ReplyDeleteAw, you look so cozy! I love the color palette, especially all the mustard-colored accessories. :)
ReplyDeleteYou look so wonderfully cute and colourful! What a lovely outfit! Ah it's nice to get compliments for looking good no? Makes you feel even prettier in what you wear. I love these days too when that happens :)
ReplyDeleteBtw you're so right, nobody should care if Minnetonkas are "so 2008", the only important thing is to feel good in them and you really pull them off!
have a nice weekend!

SO CUTE! I l o v e your scarf!
ReplyDeleteUm, I confess to saying that style is "passe'" which is probably worse than saying "2008" but I am retracting my statement. I meant to say classic. It kind of rhymes. Sort of. Is that the Reed Opera House in the background? It's been a LONG time, so I'm probably way off. There used to be a bagel shop in the Reed Opera House when bagel shops were new and trendy if you can imagine that. The bagel shop didn't last all that long, but our first date there never ended.... I still love bagels. Some things are just CLASSIC!

ReplyDeleteDo not worry, I was not referring to your previous statement at all! Ha ha! I wasn't planning on getting these ones, but I could not pass them up for the price. The above pictures are actually right across from the Book Bin, a few blocks away from the Reed Opera House. You were close! Mmm. Bagels.
Fashion trends, meh. Life is too short to study them, especially if you are talking about something as fun and comfy as lace up Minnetonkas. I love those on you!
ReplyDeleteThat's a relief! They are not passe' at all in black, actually! (So now you will get them also in brown and I will skulk off in shame again. I always say the wrong thing! And order the wrong things at restaurants. Oh well, someone has to do it!) 8)
ReplyDeleteCoffee shops are the best (especially in the rain) :-) You are the cutest, new follower!
