Christmas Eve Eve

Hat: Forever 21
Cardigan: Gap
Dress: ASOS
Socks: Sock Dreams
Clogs: Steve Madden 'Empiire'
I almost died in these shoes, but they're worth it. I am hoping a gel insert will lessen the wrath of the Kilimanjaro instep. I really like how they are a clog/platform/oxford in one. A little trendy, but I think their old ladyness makes them a classic. To me, anyway. Now if I can only survive them! These shoes are like a Hitchcock movie, I'm telling ya.

I am done wrapping Darin's presents! My next project is to fix some shingles on Ro's dollhouse and stain the floors so they look like hardwood. I will get to wallpapering and painting after Christmas so that Ro can help me pick the colors and patterns. I can't wait to see her face when she sees her new-to-her dollhouse! What gift are you most excited to give this year? Sound off in the comments!

  1. That last photo just melted my heart.

I am very excited to give my brother his gift. It's a coupon book--- one free taco bell meal, one "pick-you-up-from-school-before-math" pass, one Nancy Drew game of your choice, I buy, etc. :D

    You are a gem.

  2. What a pretty mother-daughter pic! I am jealous of your camera- and your prettiness

  3. oh my, i am swooning over those shoes. they are gorgeous. and your little girl is so cute! that dollhouse seriously sounds amazing, please post pictures of it, if you get the chance! I'm most excited for my nieces to get their gifts, they're my favorite people to shop for! merry christmas! <3

  4. Our son is obsessed with Batman and loves Legos, but Lego discontinued their Batman series. I found Batman and Robin figures (and paid through the nose for them!) and my husband custom built a Lego Batmobile. I cannot WAIT to see Sam's face when he opens the box.

This is also our daughter's very first Christmas, and I am beyond excited to see how she'll react to the whole affair. (Plus, her grandparents got her a really awesome trike.)

  5. I'm excited to give my husband his gift (a mini wooden chess set) because it is the first year of us being "together" (today is our 1-year wedding anniversary, but we've been a couple for over 2 years) that we have bought each other gifts.
Mele Kalikimaka, as they say here in Hawaii! (it means Merry Christmas :D)

  6. What a lovely dress, and lovely photos. I'm excited about giving my sister a hand knitted scarf for Christmas. It's bright pink, and has pom poms.

  7. I'm dying over those shoes. I have some Steve Madden wedges and I love love love them.

    great minds think alike.
