Winter's Bane of My Existence

Turtleneck: Gap
Tights: Marshall's
Cowl: gift from Brooke Ann
Oxfords: BC Footwear 'Slicker'
Oh, winter, why won't you snow? Mother Nature was such a tease today! She graced us with a few wet snowdrops and then quit on me. Hopefully it's just a preview for Christmas! Can you believe it's less than a week away? I can't wait! I am so excited to prepare a strata on Christmas Eve to eat on Christmas morn, wake up to a warm (and clean) house, give Darin and Rowena gifts, open my stocking, sip eggnogged coffee, and simply enjoy the wonderful company of my little family! I especially can't wait to see Rowena's face when she receives her new (well, 1970s) dollhouse.

    I wish the sky had only threatened here :) It 's deathly quiet out today. I live in the middle of a small city but today no cars go, no planes overhead. The world has come to a stop :)

    You have a great collection of ornaments. Eclectic trees are always my favorites. Adding special, fun ornaments always increases the magic factor of Christmas trees, I think.

    Loving the dress and tights combo. The juxtaposition of textures looks really neat.
